Westphalia

The Holy Kingdom of Westphalia: neither holy, nor a Kingdom, nor Westphalian, as the country has long absorbed land, culture, and peoples from Languedoc. A country considered perhaps a little less civilized than Languedoc and certainly less so than Florentia, given to infighting between feuding Barons and Dukes. Westphalia is home to the Hausland family, who have long served the (still theoretically) current ruling family.

Westphalia is, of course, a monarchy which is ruled from the Imperial Palace overlooking the city of Danzig. The King is currently Eamon the First, although he is very ill and power has been seized by a Lord Protector.

Westphalia was formed more than five centuries ago when invaders from Languedoc conquered the Beornish barbarians.
